Jack Heuer, who is the great grandson of the founder of the brand, turns 88 years old today. The brand has released a special timepiece to celebrate his birthday and honor the name of family.
Named as TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Jack Heuer 88th Birthday Gold Limited Edition, the watch resembles the lately released Carrera Chronograph family, which is a classier iteration of the original Carrera created by Jack Heuer in 1963.

42 mm case is in 18kt rose gold and has AR-coated sapphire crystal and a sapphire display back. It is water resistant up to 100 meters.
The timepiece has Swiss automatic TAG Heuer in-house caliber Heuer 02 movement with 40 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 80 hours. Besides special black rotor, the functions are hours, minutes, seconds, and chronograph: 1/4 second, 30 minutes counter, 12 hours counter, and date.
Ivory white dial with grey sub-dials contribute to the classy look of the watch. A black alligator strap and 18kt rose gold buckle seem perfectly fit with the case.
The piece will be available in March 2021 for $18,450.
