Although it is known as a brand which is often associated with complicated watches, A. Lange & Söhne is introducing its second ultra-thin wristwatch named Saxonia Thin “Black Gold Flux”.
Named after the city of Saxony which is the very center of German watchmaking, “Black Gold Flux” is a limited edition of 50 watches.
As watch lovers can remember, Saxonia Thin was previously introduced in different sizes of 37mm, 39mm and 40mm. “Black Gold Flux” has the measurement of 40mm X 6.22mm.
The material applied on the dial is aventurine glass manufactured with a technique combining copper and some other materials. Its essential feature is its sparkles when it catches the light.
The dial is pretty minimalist with gold baton markers, hour and minute hands. The narrow bezel and gentle curves of the lugs allows the watch snug on the wrist.
An ultra-thin manual-winding caliber L093.1 powers the watch and it has 72 hours of power reserve.
German silver plate with Glashütte ribbing and the hand-engraved cock bridge are the classical features of the brand on this model.
The watch is available in boutiques for EUR 24,500.
