MARCO LANG ZWEIGESICHT-1

Born in 1971 as a son of Rolf Lang who worked as restorer of clocks and scientific instruments in the Dresden Art Chamber, Marco Lang is a fifth-generation watchmaker who has spent many hours in his father’s workshop and learned about the works of great masters.

Marco Lang completed a three-year apprenticeship as a precision mechanic in Glashütte / Saxony. He went to Northern Germany in 1991 and completed his training as a watchmaker.

In 2001, he founded the brand Lang & Heyne with his companion Mirko Heyne (who soon left the company in 2002). In 2019 Lang left Lang & Heyne where he developed and constructed 9 different movements and a collection of 8 watch models and their variants with a price range of 20,000 to 150,000 Euros.

In 2020, Lang founded a new atelier and started working on watches under his own name.

Marco Lang has introduced Zweigesicht-1 in three variations: steel, rose gold, and platinum.

40mm case in stainless steel, rose gold, and platinum feature anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides.

The case is specifically designed to remove the strap and wear the watch upside-down.

There are two dials on the watch. The first dial is white-silver plated with Roman numerals with rose-gold or blue steel hands.

The second dial is openworked and it is covered with blue, translucent enamel “grand feu”. The hands are also blue steel.

Powered with in-house manual caliber ml-01 with 27 jewels, the movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph, and it has a power reserve of 70 hours.

The functions of the watch are hours, minutes, seconds, and shock-indication.

The model comes with alligator leather strap covered with shark leather on the inside.
