Beneath a large sapphire crystal dome, an arch supports a half-globe in shades of grey and blue. It depicts the continents, the seas and the lights of the large cities located north of the Equator.
On the edge of the planet, a sapphire ring breaks down the 24 hours of a day. Transparent between 6 am and 6 pm, a metal treatment has been used to darken it, indicating the night night-time hours. Together, the hemisphere and ring display the time in one part of the world, represented in a highly original way. In the absence of a dedicated hand or city disc, the time is read geographically in accordance with the continents.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Arnold & Son in-house caliber A&S6022 with 29 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 45 hours. Decoration of the mainplate: grey NAC-treated, circular-grained finishes. Bridges: Côtes de Genève stripes radiating from center, hand-polished and chamfered, NAC-treated wheels: circular satin-brushed and rhodium-plated. Bevelled and mirror-polished screws. Rotor: laser-engraved pattern, black ADLC and grey NAC two-tone, skeletonised, with matte straight-grained finish. Functions are: hours, minutes, and world times (24 hours).
It has an opaline silver dial, circular brushed. The terrestrial dome continents are chemically engraved, circular satin-brushed, anthracite-galvanised, contours in hand-applied black lacquer. The city lights are denoted with 950 silver sparkles. The oceans are hand-applied grey-blue lacquer, and a sapphire 24-hour ring.
Arnold & Son can also provide a “Southern Hemisphere” version of the dial on request.
It comes on a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap with hand-rolled edge and a steel buckle.
