Last Week’s Eye-catchers
Hi everybody. As you know, every Sunday, I’ve been sharing with you, on my Instagram account, the watches sent to me via DM by my followers. I sometimes choose a theme, and sometimes for just a Sunday fun. I share good pictures or videos sent to me, providing that they are original pieces.
From now on, I will be sharing with you the watches, with varying price levels, I’ve fully subjectively chosen from among the watches sent on Sundays. The sequence shall be random.

Longines Heritage Military Limited Edition 1938 by @sam_bitar91
Having made a name for itself with the heritage models it introduced one after the other in recent years, Longines can’t be proud enough of its deep-rooted history. This model is, too, a reproduction of the military version introduced in 1938. Fitted with ETA-based winding L507.2 caliber, the 43mm version has 17 jewels and a power reserve of 53 hours. Being produced in a limited edition of 1938 pieces, the watch is offered with an anthracite leather and cognac NATO strap. The base price is USD2,450.

The 38mm steel case has a quite interesting design. The 3 windows on the front face of the watch display hour, minute and date. Equipped with a Ronda quartz mechanism and having 30m water resistance, the model is offered with a changeable green leather strap. The list price is USD1,900.

The model with ref. W2604351 measures 26,5x45mm. The case and buckle is made of platinum. It has a winding movement and the second-hand price ranges between USD10,000-13,500.
Zenith Defy El Primero 21 by @Azeckwazion
With its skeletonized dial and reputed El Primero caliber, the version is offered in a Defy case. The 44mm version count in 1/100 of a second. Operating at 36,000vph (hi-beat) frequency, the caliber has a power reserve of 50 hours. The ref.95.9000.9004 watch has a base price of USD11,900.

First introduced in 1980, the Alpine Eagle has been re-designed. A very successful example for the integrated bracelet models that have been on the march. Having a chronometer-certified, automatic, in-house movement, the model’s sale price is USD19,700.

What can be said about this watch! The timepiece facing you is a Patek Philippe split-seconds chronograph with a perpetual calendar. It features two of the most challenging complications. The 40mm version has a platinum case and its release price in 2012 was USD317,500.

Having a quite interesting design, the model is actually a reproduction of an experimental model of 60s. It has a mechanism that prevents the bezel from rotating by locking it. At the heart of the model beats a chronometer-certified in-house caliber. The list price is USD3,950.

A spectacular model embellishing the dreams of skeletonized watch lovers. The automatic in-house 3132 caliber is offered in a Royal Oak case. The list price is USD44,100.
Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon 30° White Gold by @timer_watches
Speaking of haute horology, one of the top brands is Greubel Forsey. This model here has two tourbillons. While the outer tourbillon rotates in 4 minutes, the inner one rotates in 1 minute. As its name suggests, the tourbillons are positioned at a 30° angle. Hence, a maximum performance and precision is aimed.
Rolex Daytona Big Red 6263 by @jfdorozco
Who doesn’t love Rolex? Both a Daytona and a vintage? Yes to all questions. Getting its name from the red DAYTONA inscription in capital letters, especially this example of the model is in a very good condition.
