I want to share again and talk in brief about the watches catching our eyes during the wristrolls of the last Sunday. As I said last time, here are the ones that subjectively caught our eyes regardless of the price range.
Omega Dynamic Geneve 70’s
A voluptuous model that smells and sounds 70s with its engrossing design like a horizontal ellipse and its tridimensional blue dial. Much popular among those who have been newly interested in vintage timepieces.
Hamilton Khaki Aviation Day-Date
Paying homage to those magnificent days of aviation, Hamilton Khaki Aviation Day-Date is quite nostalgic with its hours and minutes hands and vintage color indexes, all peculiar to pilot watches. Yet this nostalgia is only offered visually, as we look at its technical features, it’s quite modern with a 42mm steel case, an automatic caliber offering an 80 hours power reserve and a sapphire crystal. The ref. H64645131 model has a list price of CHF 970.
Casio A159WA-N1CR Classic
When the subject is digital watch, the first brand that comes to mind is, definitely, Casio. It’s found in the portfolio of almost every watch aficionado. The model here is a perfect classic. It has a lithium battery, a timekeeper and even a LED light. Its price is USD 29.99.
Rolex Yachtmaster 116695SATS aka Gummy Bear
Offered with a 40mm Everose case and an OysterFlex strap, the hallmark of the model is, of course, its bezel. The bi-directionally rotating bezel is embellished with a diamond at 12 o’clock, and 38 sapphires in blue, orange, yellow, and pink and 8 tsavorites in green. The quality of gems is at the level of Rolex, that is, flawless. Fitted with the 3135 caliber, another difference of the model from the non-gem version is its glossy dial, whereas the latter is offered with a matte dial. The list price is CHF 62,500.00.
Patek Philippe 5207P- Grand Complications, Tourbillon- Minute Repeater- Perpetual Calender
One of the flagship models of the brand at the zenith of the horology world. The most difficult complications are offered altogether in the timepiece. It features a tourbillon, a minute repeater and a perpetual calendar. The model has a manually wound caliber inside a 41mm case. The diamond inserted into the case at 6 o’clock emphasizes that the case is platinum. Having a very special tone, the dial color is called as honey gold by Patek Philippe. Launched in 2008, the price of the model was USD 810,000.00 in those years.
Jaquet Droz Jumping Hour
We know Jaquet Droz, one of the long-established watch companies, from its automatons and artwork watches. The interesting vintage model here has a 35mm diameter and a sunburst dial. It features a Jumping Hours design, which has recently become popular again. In this model, the hours and minutes are changing with an instantaneous jumping.
Bell&Ross BR 05 Blue Steel
A fine example of those watches with a blue dial, a steel case, and an integrated bracelet which is, again, a rising trend of the recent times. Bell&Ross is a company mostly focusing on the themes of aviation and diving. This new model has quite an eye-popping blue dial. With a high quality Sellita SW300 caliber beating at its heart, the watch has a price tag of USD 4,900.00.
Ulysse Nardin Freak Lab Boutique Edition
With a quite marginal design, the model has a 45mm case crafted from black titanium and carbon fiber. Its peculiar caliber features a tourbillon and manual winding. Wound at the back of the case, the mechanism stores a power reserve of 12 hours with one full rotation. Introduced only in the boutiques, in 2015, with a 99 pieces limited edition, the model had a price tag of USD 75,000.00 at the time.
Richard Mille RM07-01 Automatic
An exquisite women’s watch from Richard Mille, the brand of Ultra Luxury and Ultra Sport watches. The RM07 collection has different versions such as carbon TPT, white gold, rose gold and sapphire. The timepiece here is rose gold and glamourized with diamonds. The prices start from EUR 60,000.00.
