It is a fact known by watch lovers that A. Lange & Söhne brand started to rise again in 1994. Saxonia and Lange 1 are two of the models that played an important role in this rise of the company.

The Saxonia Outsize Date, which combines the features of these two important models, has been introduced to watch lovers. The Saxonia Outsize Date, which takes its large date window from Lange 1 and its symmetrical lines from Saxonia Automatic, has a simple and impressive design.

Measuring 38.5mm x 9.6mm, the case is made of 18k white or red gold.

There is a date window below 12 o’clock and a small second sub-dial at 6 o’clock on the dial creating a beautiful symmetry.

The date, framed in white or red gold in accordance with the case material, is very easy to read. White or red gold hour and minute hands contribute to the simplistic design of the watch. The indexes of the watch, made of white or red gold, are applied to the dial.

The Saxonia Outsize Date is operating with a different adaptation of the caliber L086 used in previous Saxonia models. The main reason for the realignment of the mechanism is that the date complication has been added.

The movement, which is fixed with 3 plates made of silver with Glashutte ribbing, creates a more elegant look with hand-embroidered flower motifs.

The white gold Saxonia Outsize Date comes with a black leather strap and white gold buckle, while the red gold model comes with a brown leather strap and a red gold buckle.

Both models are available for 23,600 Euros.
