A combination of the most exquisite traditional Grand Feu enamel craftsmanship and fine contemporary watchmaking, Louis Erard is incorporating an artistic craftwork.

This achievement comes with a message which is to make one of the most exclusive and traditional handcrafts of all times.

Limited to 99 pieces, the production phase for the traditional Grand Feu enamel method requires a complex process in which the dials are built up little by little via the cumulation of thin layers of silica, metallic oxide and potassium.

800° degrees of heat is required to give the final shape of the dials.  

What make the process traditional is the use of a copper base, a ductile metal, subjected to enamelling and counter-enamelling in the same style used even before the synthetic varnishes.

The stainless steel case of the model has the measurements of 42mm x 49.6mm x 12.2mm. There is an AR-coated sapphire crystal on the front and a display back on the back and the model is water resistant up to 50 meters.

The case back is engraved with the number of the edition such as”Limited Edition 1 of 99′”.

Powered by the Swiss automatic Sellita caliber SW261-1 with 31 jewels, the mechanism operates at 28,800 vph and it has power reserve of 38 hours.

The complications are hours, minutes, and small seconds at 6 o’clock.

The dial has a cream color in traditional Grand Feu enamel. Sub-seconds counter are located at 6 o’clock. The indexes and hands are blued steel.

The model comes with a 22mm coffee-colored calf nubuck leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching, and a polished stainless steel pin buckle.

The price of the model is 3,900 Swiss Francs.
