The new Luminor Due features a case, bezel, Safety Lock crown protective device, caseback and buckle done in Panerai Goldtech, a special 18kt gold alloy with an original composition of copper and platinum. The purpose of the copper is to give the color intensity and depth, while the platinum is to lower the tarnishing effects of oxidation.
The case, in polished Goldtech, measures 42mm x 10.5mm. It has double sapphire crystals and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss automatic (4.2mm) Panerai in-house caliber P.900 with 23 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 3 days. Functions are: hours, minutes, small seconds, and date.
Dials can be had in black with a satiné soleil finish and sandwich structure (PAM01041), or white with luminous printed Arabic numerals (PAM01042). Beige SuperLuminova on hands, numerals and markers. Small seconds at 9 o’clock. Date at 3 o’clock.
It comes on a black or dark brown semi-matte alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone or beige sewing. Goldtech clasp buckle.
