Malachite Dial
The malachite stone offers a wide range of green tones, harmoniously distributed in concentric areas. It has been appreciated since antiquity and used extensively in the decoration of sacred temples, palaces and churches. For the dial of this watch, Omega has sourced the malachite from South Africa.
Lapis Lazuli
Lapis Lazuli is an intensely deep blue semi-precious stone. It is composed of Lazurite, which gives it an “ultramarine” color and was once described by Marco Polo as “the finest Azure in the world”. The stone has been used by royal dynasties since antiquity, especially in ancient Egypt, where it was carved and polished into statues and other important objects.
Straps can be had in green or blue leather, with gold buckles.
