OMEGA TRESOR FOR ORBIS

Omega introduced 2 new Trésor models to support Orbis. Omega has been supporting Orbis to fight against preventable blindness in the poorest parts of the world since 2011.

The watch, which has a 40mm stainless steel case, has an anti-reflective domed sapphire glass on the front and a normal sapphire glass on the back. The watch is offered to watch enthusiasts in 2 different models with a diamond or polished bezel. The model is water-resistant up to 30 meters.

Powered by the manuel-winding Omega in-house caliber 8511 with 30 jewels, the movement operates at a frequency of 25,200 vph and has a 60-hours of power reserve. The model has an 18kt red gold balance bridge, and a Co-Axial escapement is used for more precision, stability, and durability. Resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15.000 Gauss, the model has a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring and two barrels which are mounted in series.

Applied on the model’s gradient blue dial, indexes are made of 18k white gold. White gold hands are in great harmony with the indexes and blue dial. There is a teddy bear at the 6 o’clock index to refer to teddy bears given to children to have a good time after eye surgery. This mascot is also shaded with a light blue color.

The model is offered to watch lovers with a blue leather strap with a polished steel buckle.

The watch, which is covered by a 5-year warranty and sold with the Omega certificate, seems to attract the attention of many serious collectors with its special presentation box and Teddy Bear key holder.
