Panerai, which was established as a watchmaking workshop, shop and school in Florence in 1860, has been a remarkable model with its unique designs. Panerai was a brand that supplied precision watches to the Italian Navy and special diving units before it was taken over by the Richemont company in 1997.

Many models produced by the brand during this period remained military secrets, including the Luminor and Radiomir. The brand, which entered the international market after 1997, made its name known all over the world. Today, the Panerai brand develops and manufactures its movements and watches at its facility in Neuchâtel. Combining Italian design with Switzerland’s unique horological expertise, Panerai has become a brand that many watch enthusiasts want to add to their collections.

Most recently, the brand has introduced Platinumtech Luminor Marina. Limited to 70 pieces, the timepiece comes with polished platinumtech bezel and case which has the measurements of 44mm x 13.4mm.

The model has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire crystal porthole with the “70 Years Warranty” logo applied via a metallization process. It is water resistant to 50 meters.

Powered by Panerai in-house caliber P.9010 with 31 jewels, it operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 3 days. The functions of the watch are hours, minutes, small seconds, and date.

The dial is distinguished with its olive-green dial. There are Arabic numerals and indexes coated with SuperLuminova.

The model comes with a dark brown alligator leather strap with platinumtech trapezoidal pin buckle. An additional second strap is also included depending on the choice of the purchaser.
