In order to pay tribute to classic cars, Ralph Lauren has introduced Automotive Chronograph 42. The timepiece has been manufactured by Jaeger LeCoultre exclusively for Ralph Lauren.
Already known for its automotive collection, the fashion brand is presenting an iconic chronograph with a different size of 42mm which is right between the brand’s previous 45mm and 39mm models.
The newly-introduced model has two versions one of which is finished in standard stainless steel whereas the other has a black-toned finish. Steel one comes with a bracelet and the black one comes with a black leather strap.
The Amboyna burl bezel pays tribute to wood trims of vintage race cars. The dial has patinated numeral indexes, and chronograph counters are placed at 3 and 9 o’clock while RL logo is placed at 12o’clock.
Powered by RL751A/1 caliber manufactured only for Ralph Lauren, the movement has 65 hours of power reserve and operates at 28,800vph.
Both versions of Ralph Lauren Automotive 42 are available in Ralph Lauren stores for $9,900.
