Ressence Type 1DXB

Limited Edition of 19 Pieces for UAE Retailer – Celebrating Dubai Watch Week 2019

Done in close collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, this is a limited edition of the Type 1 Squared. It draws inspiration from Arabic geometric patterns, believed to unveil the underlying reality to the viewer. This traditional design composes with natural light and creates unique shadow play. It is an Arabic take on skeleton dials.

We are extremely honored to collaborate with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons on this rather unique project. They have pioneered in promoting independent brands in their region and I see this piece as a thank you for all their efforts.” Says Benoît Mintiens.

Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, Chief Commercial Officer of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons commented: “This collaboration with Ressence is the first and hopefully not the last; for Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons to partner with Ressence sets a benchmark in terms of what can be achieved through collaboration and shows the support we give to the watch industry. The design concept was worked on closely with Benoit to achieve a masterpiece and we are very proud of it”.
