TUTIMA FLIEGER FRIDAY CHRONOGRAPH

Tutima introduced its iconic pilot watch, the Flieger Chronograph, in 1941. The original timepiece introduced nearly 70 years ago is now a very valuable item for watch collectors all over the world.

Social media is known to have a huge impact on consumer choices including watch world. Nowadays, it even influences the names of watch collections.

Those who are into watches especially pilot watches are already familiar with the hashtag #FliegerFriday, and  they have the habbit of posting images on Friday.

Tutima, joining the naming trend is now introducing the Flieger Friday Edition.

Limited to 25 pieces, it has been inspired by the original model and it is a close reproduction in terms of style, design and mechanics.

As to the technical specifications, its stainless steel case has the measures 38.5 of mm x 46mm x 15.5 mm.

The black dial has SuperLuminova-coated hands and numerals. The logo and fonts reflect the original 1941 model.

It has fluted bi-directional bezel with red reference marker.

Being water resistant to 100 meters, it has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal and a sapphire display back.

Powered by the Swiss manual-wind ETA caliber Valjoux 7760 (modified by Tutima), with 17 jewels and 28,800 vph, it has a power reserve of 48 hours. It features a gold plated bridge and Tutima engraving. Functions are hours, minutes, small seconds, and chronograph.

The timepiece comes with a vintage brown pilot leather strap with a steel buckle.

The price of the watch is $3,450.
