In an effort to excel in technique, meaning, and style, Louis Erard keeps working with watchmaking masters. This time, the collaboration is with the artist Vianney Halter whose each design is a collector’s item.
Designed by Vianney Halter and produced by Louis Erard, Vianney Halter X Louis Erard Regulator dressed up with some of the independent watchmaker’s signature design elements on the dial.
Vianney Halter says, “I wanted to see if I was capable of reaching all those who love my watches but are not able to buy them. Louis Erard has allowed me to do that while staying true to myself.”
Vianney names his unique style as “future past”. The dial is distinctively aesthetic reflecting the touches of the artist. It has two plates. The upper one has circular-brushed finishing for the minute track while the lower plate is sandblasted for hours and seconds.
The steel case is 42mm in diameter, and it seems fairly thick with 12.25mm height. It has a display back showing the Sellita SW266-1 movement and it comes with leather strap with pin buckle.
