First introduced in 1969 as one of the game-changers in the horology world, Zenith El Primero is among the first automatic chronographs and it is one of the favorite watches of those who are into watches. Zenith reinterpreted the watch introduced in 1969 and introduced the Chronomaster Revival A385.
The watch is the same size as the original model with a 37mm case. The stainless steel case is radially brushed and polished. Sapphire glasses are used on the front and back of the model. The model is water-resistant up to 50 meters.
One of the features that stand out with the model is the smoked brown gradient dial. The white minute track, SuperLuminova coated baton indexes and hands contribute to the design integrity of the dial.
The model operates at a frequency of 36,000 vph with the in-house El-Primero 400 Calibre. Composed of 278 components, the movement has a 50-hour power reserve. The functions of the model are hours, minutes, small seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and date.
The model is available light brown calf leather strap with protective rubber lining and stainless steel pin buckle or ladder steel bracelet with stainless steel double folding clasp.
The model with the strap costs EUR 7,800, while the model with the steel bracelet is EUR 8300.
